Lionsgate UK Teams with Amazon, Odeon on Hunger Games Preview

British distribution and financing company Lionsgate UK is partnering with Amazon and theatrical exhibition circuit Odeon Cinemas to provide preview screenings of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2″ in 3-D to customers who purchase their tickets through Amazon Local’s website.
Tickets for the pre-screenings are exclusively available through the Amazon Local website, making this the only opportunity for U.K. fans of “The Hunger Games” to see the fourth and final instalment before it goes on general release. The screenings, shown exclusively in Odeon theaters across the U.K., will be held on Nov. 18, a day before the film’s official release date.
Amazon customers will receive a souvenir ticket, exclusive poster and 3D glasses from £14 ($21.40) a ticket, inclusive of all fees, as well as the opportunity to save 20% off a selection of DVDs and Blu-rays at Amazon.co.uk.
The franchise has grossed more than $2.3 billion at the global box office.
